Biography

Welcome! I am a first-year M.S. student and teaching assistant for Synoptic-Dynamic Weather Analysis, and my adviser is Dr. Jeff Frame. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Oswego State University in the spring of 2023. My favorite areas of meteorology are severe weather and winter weather. As an undergraduate, I studied climatological trends of cold-season tornado outbreaks in the contiguous United States. I also served as a research assistant for Project Lake-Effect Electrification (LEE), a field campaign that studied electrification in lake-effect snowstorms east of Lake Ontario. My current M.S. research investigates cold pool characteristics in quasi-linear convective storms and their effect on tornadogenesis.
