Rachel Tam

Rachel Tam is a graduate student working with Professor Cristian Proistosescu in the Proistosescu Research Group. 

Prior to joining the Department of Atmospheric Science at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Rachel majored in Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences and minored in Climate Change Studies at University of California, San Diego. 

With a strong interest in cloud feedbacks and their impacts on climate sensitivity, Rachel's research focuses on climate dynamics and radiation and is currently working on constraining climate sensitivity with statistical learning methods.
