Biography
Rachel Tam is a graduate student working with Professor Cristian Proistosescu in the Climate Dynamics and Data Science Group.
Prior to joining the Department of Climate, Meteorology and Atmospheric Science at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Rachel majored in Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences and minored in Climate Change Studies at University of California, San Diego.
With a strong interest in cloud feedbacks and their impacts on climate sensitivity, Rachel's research focuses on climate dynamics and radiation and is currently working on constraining climate sensitivity with statistical learning methods.
