Illinois Public Media premieres a new weekly radio program and podcast, a partnership with the Department of Climate, Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences in the School of Earth, Society & Environment at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Weather Realness brings the best weather and climate scientists in Illinois to help the public understand weather and climate by providing scientific facts and enlightening conversation.

The show is produced by WILL's Reginald Hardwick and Penny Bradford, and features co-host Maddie Stover, who is a graduate student in Physics co-advised by CliMAS Prof. Ryan Sriver.  CliMAS faculty will be regular co-hosts of the program, and will share their views and expertise alongside experts from campus and beyond. So far, Profs. Steve Nesbitt, Jeff Frame, and Illinois State Climatologist and CliMAS Faculty Affiliate Dr. Trent Ford have served as co-hosts of this podcast.
